UKABC Chair moderates panel discussion at ASEAN Business and Investment Summit on digital economy, MSMEs and e-commerce

Lord Vaizey chaired a stellar panel of regulators, founders and platforms featuring 

The panel reinforced the message that small businesses are the life blood of any economy and discussed how small businesses are digitising in SE Asia, and the challenges these businesses are facing in doing so.  
 
Discussions also covered how more small businesses can go online and adopt digital payments, how digital is helping so many micro-businesses reach new customers and how inter-ASEAN regulation is the key to unlocking this huge market for so many entrepreneurs.  

As Sapna Chadha put it during the panel, if ASEAN can get this right and maintain the momentum, a $290 billion dollar prize awaits.
