On 3 June, the UK-ASEAN Business Council (UKABC) was pleased to welcome back Matt Western MP, the UK Trade Envoy for Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam, for a roundtable discussion with UKABC partners.

The session provided partners with an opportunity to hear directly from Matt Western MP on market developments, priority sectors and the commercial opportunities available to UK businesses across the four countries. The discussion also enabled partners from a range of sectors to share practical insights and raise issues shaping the future of UK-ASEAN trade.

With UK-ASEAN trade continuing to represent a significant and growing relationship, the roundtable highlighted the importance of sustained business-to-government dialogue in unlocking new opportunities and strengthening bilateral commercial links.
