UKABC Chair, Lord Vaizey of Didcot, spoke in the House of Lords debate on India and Southeast Asia: Free Trade Agreements

The House of Lords, London - Lord Vaizey, as Chair of the UK-ASEAN Business Council, spoke during last week’s House of Lords debate on the importance of continuing to grow the UK’s trade and investment partnership with Southeast Asia.

Malaysia, as ASEAN chair, is keen to work with us on digital and AI, and Indonesia has made clear it wants a free trade deal. The UK must seize these opportunities.
— Lord Ed Vaizey
