BDO and UK-ASEAN Business Council (UKABC) organised a webinar series on investing in ASEAN, one of the fastest-growing regions of the world, where BDO's accounting and tax specialists from Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines looked at the investment environment for each of their countries, their entry strategies, tax landscapes and incentives, and potential challenges.

We were joined by James Thackery, Director of Exports, Asia Pacific, at the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) from the UK Department for Business and Trade's Export Support Services (ESS) team in APAC who shared how the DBT's Export Support Service could help UK companies enter and grow in ASEAN markets.

The six countries were covered in two sessions on consecutive days - Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th of November 2023.
