UKABC Concludes a Successful 5th Annual Business Forum, 17 March 2026

The UK‑ASEAN Business Council (UKABC) is pleased to announce the successful delivery of the 5th UK‑ASEAN Business Forum 2026, held at HSBC’s global headquarters in Canary Wharf, London.

This year’s Forum brought together more than 100 senior government officials, business leaders, and industry experts from across the UK and ASEAN. Delegates explored how both regions can navigate an increasingly fragmented global economy and uncover new opportunities amid shifting geopolitical dynamics.

The programme featured five thematic sessions that sparked rich discussion and forward‑looking insights:

  • Geo‑economic Perspectives

  • Energy Security and Connectivity

  • Creative Economies

  • Building a Resilient Future through UK‑ASEAN Cooperation

  • Business Priorities for ASEAN

We extend our sincere appreciation to HSBC, our longstanding headline sponsor, whose continued partnership has been central to the Forum’s growth and impact. Our thanks also go to our strategic partner Mott MacDonald, and to ACCA and Prudential for their valued support.

The UK‑ASEAN Business Forum continues to strengthen its role as a leading platform for dialogue—fostering meaningful connections, inspiring new ideas, and shaping conversations that advance the future of UK‑ASEAN business collaboration.

We look forward to sharing key takeaways and insights from this year’s discussions in the coming days.
