The United Kingdom (UK) signed up to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) in July 2023, making history as the first new member to join this dynamic trade group since it was created.

Join this session being delivered by the British High Commission in Malaysia and the Malaysian Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry to uncover how CPTPP will help UK and Malaysian businesses to trade in services more easily, enable investment and support the movement of businesspersons. The session will cover commitments to cross-border services trade and financial services, the level of investment protection that is guaranteed and legal certainty on temporary entry routes for businesspersons.
