Deadline for application:

Tue, 10 May 2016

Taxi stand passenger queue tracking system for four taxi stands at Changi Airport Terminals 2 and 3.

Currently, monitoring of passengers queuing for taxis at each taxi stand in Changi Airport is performed by reviewing CCTV camera image and video feeds. Changi Airport Group seeks a system to capture and track passenger queuing data, eg: passenger waiting time, length of queue, throughput of queue.

The tender is for the design, supply, delivery, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and maintenance of a Taxi Ground Sensors “System” at four taxi stand passenger queues at Changi Airport Terminal 2 (T2) and Terminal 3 (T3). The primary objectives of the system are to:

(a) capture data on queue parameters (e.g. an individual’s wait time in queue, queue length, throughput of queue) for each taxi stand in T2 and T3;

(b) visualize the data captured in Para. 1.3(a) on a dashboard;

(c) send out timely notifications / alerts, in the form of SMS alerts and / or application notifications, based on user-defined triggers and thresholds;

(d) predict the waiting time for a person joining the end of a taxi queue, for each of the taxi stands in T2 and T3;

(e) enable analysis of data to take place. Historical data should be stored and extractable by CAG.
