Supply Installation and Maintenance of Solar PV Systems for Households and Public Facilities under Myanmar National Electrification Project (NEP), Component 2: Offgird Electrification. The purshaser is the department of Rural Development (DRD).

The purpose of this tender is to electrify private households and public facilities (health, education, government offices), in villages in the States of Kayin, Chin, Sagaing, Tanintharyi, Rakhine, Shan (East), Shan (North), Ayarwaddy in the Republic of Union of Myanmar. The electrification of these installations will be using only stand-alone photovoltaic systems with battries. The scope of work covers design, supply installation and commission of the equipment for private and public facilities in proper working order, a warranty period covering quality of workmanship, the provision of equipment warranties spare parts, and training. One year maintenance services shall be provided by the supplier during the warranty period to systems at public facilities.

The project area is divided into 12 lots as follows:

• Lot (1) Kayin,
• Lot (2) Chin (1)
• Lot (3) Chin (2)
• Lot (4) Sagaing
• Lot (5) Tanintharyi
• Lot (6) Rakhine (1)
• Lot (7) Rakhine (2)
• Lot (8) Shan (East)
• Lot (9) Shan (North) (1)
• Lot (10) Shan (North) (2)
• Lot (11) Ayeyawaddy (1)
• Lot (12) Ayeyawaddy (2)

There are bidding documents: Volume I and II and addendums. Addendum no.5 for extension of deadline for submission of bids extends to May 12, 2016 “10.00 a.m” local time.
