You should be able to supply jams, spreads and confectionery for the mass market, especially the growing middle class in Malaysia.
The products:
– should have unique selling points, such as health/ healthier lifestyles
– have to be Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), ISO 22000 or equivalent and Halal-certified
If not Halal-certified, you need to get the products certified by 2022 from recognised Halal bodies (Halal Certification Europe and Halal Food Authority).
The company is looking for manufacturers or brand owners looking to build their brand in Malaysia.
They would like to sign a distributor’s agreement within 3 months, with the first order arriving by January 2022.
