The south west of Hau River, namely the provinces of An Giang, Hau Giang, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau, Kien Giang, and the strategic city of Can Tho are subject to a Mekong Delta water supply investment project which will be fully funded by the World Bank with $US 7 million for project preparation. Its objective is to increase access to sustainable water services and environmental sanitation in selected urban areas in the project provinces.
Management Board of Technical Infrastructure Development Projects (Administration of Technical Infrastructure – Ministry of Construction) is looking for a consultant for the preparation of the project feasibility studies, basic and detailed engineering designs, cost estimates, bidding documents, and institutional development analysis and design.

– general experience in implementing project preparatory technical assistance in the water supply sector, including development of pre-feasibility/feasibility study reports, detailed engineering design (to include internationally accepted hydraulic modeling of the distribution networks), bidding documentation (relevant experience in river basin-based or regional water supply projects would be an asset); and
– experience in the region.
