Grant call for technologies to strengthen Singapore’s power systems and energy markets
The grant call from a Singapore government authority invites submission of white papers for research and development projects. The target areas are:
– physical resilience: ensuring the resilience, reliability and efficiency of assets across the entire value chain. eg using analytics to improve the accuracy of health modelling tools
– cyber resilience: safeguarding Singapore’s power system against external threats, eg exploring synergies between enterprise IT technologies for control systems in the operational technology environment to detect and protect against cyber threats
– market resilience: securing the competitiveness of Singapore’s energy markets, eg harnessing Big Data to improve infrastructure, market planning, and operations
This grant call is open to institutes of higher learning, research institutes, public sector agencies, not-for-profit organisations, and private sector companies. Research consortia comprising the above organisations are also permitted.
The project duration, including completion of the final report and all miscellaneous project activities, should not exceed three years.
