The Philippine government is inviting bidders to build BRT infrastructures in Cebu City in the central Philippines.

This contract package connects the civic centre of Cebu to a major bus terminal south of the city.

The package includes structures such as:

– trunk lines
– sidewalk improvements
– stations
– urban realm enhancements linking to the port
– other items

This contract package is estimated to cost £15 million.

The expected contract duration is 1 year.

This package is part of the Cebu Bus Rapid Transit Project, scheduled to be the first BRT in the Philippines. The bidding procedures will follow World Bank procurement guidelines.
