Invitation to bid for the first package of a major Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project financed by the World Bank.
The government is inviting bidders to build BRT infrastructures in Cebu City in the central Philippines.
This contract package includes infrastructure connecting the civic centre of Cebu to a major bus terminal south of the city.
The package includes structures such as:
– trunk lines
– sidewalk improvements
– stations
– urban realm enhancements linking to the port
This contract package is estimated to cost £15 million.
The expected contract duration is 1 year.
This package is part of the Cebu Bus Rapid Transit Project, scheduled to be the first BRT in the Philippines. The bidding procedures will follow World Bank procurement guidelines.
