To supply a system to track assets, drive efficiency in repairs and the use of labour, prolong the life of assets, and increase safety.
The contractor will design, supply, develop, install, test and commission a complete System within 12 months of its appointment, including all the necessary Cloud infrastructure, System Software, Application Software and professional services. A Performance Guarantee Period of 3 months will follow, followed by a further 12 month System Warranty Period.
The System will be scalable and flexible, able to manage multiple and new asset locations and new asset types. It will be a central system accessible over the internet via mobile Web by field engineers and technicians.
The invitation to tender includes Options to:
1) Delete Cloud hosting and related services within 6 months of the contractor’s appointment;
2) Extend the Operation and Maintenance Services for the System for two years (including 300 man-days for system enhancement) from the end of the System Warranty Period; and,
3) Extend the Operation and Maintenance Services for the System for three years (including 450 man-days for system enhancement).
