Willis Towers Watson is a global provider of risk and insurance advice and is pleased to play our part in support of Myanmar’s future. We bring our industry insight, risk quantification skills and global reinsurance access to the country, linking together companies with Myanmar Insurance and the global reinsurance market.
In establishing a representative office in Yangon in March 2014, Willis Towers Watson became the first of the global brokers to open for business in Myanmar. Our Willis Representative Office is led by Khaing Zar Aung, a native Burmese speaker with insurance broking experience in London and Singapore insurance markets. Khaing is supported by broad spectrum of industry specialists in Singapore and the UK and a team of four local associates who will represent our clients in liaising with Myanmar Insurance

Our Myanmar Representative Office Core Offerings are:

  • Liaise with Myanma Insurance (MI)
  • Support our local/ foreign clients and insurers
  • Function as the contact point to access Willis’ regional and global capabilities
  • On a broader platform, to contribute to the development of the insurance sector in Myanmar

Our presence in Myanmar offers particular advantages to our clients in that discussion and relationships with the local insurers will be critical to the timely and successful conclusion of the insurance programme.
