Speaker Profile

Khine Khine Nwe (Rosaline) is the Joint Secretary General (JSG) of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) since 2011, the first elected female on the Secretariat and is now re-elected again for her third term.

She is the Honorary Principal of UMFCCI Training Institute, heads the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee in UMFCCI, active in Industrial Relations and was the Employers’ Delegate to International Labor Conference held in Geneva for 4 consecutive years, 2011 to 2014. She was also a member of Myanmar Investment Commission from September 2012 to March 2016. She is a Trustee on the Board of ASEAN CSR Network (ACN) and a Board member of the UNGC Local Network Myanmar.

She is Deputy Managing Director of Best Industrial Co.Ltd, a garment manufacturing company, since 1994 and the Secretary General of Myanmar Garment Manufacturers’ Association (MGMA) and Chairperson of Myanmar Garment Human Resource Development Center (MGHRDC).

She holds her Master’s Degree (MSc) from Yangon University, Myanmar and taught at Assumption University in Bangkok, Thailand.

Her passion is to help develop an inclusive socio-friendly economic environment in Myanmar that will lead to equitable growth of the Nation.
