In 2017, investment in construction reached an impressive total of USD 6.8bn (over GBP 5bn), an increase of 23% comparing to the previous year. The industry has made a remarkable contribution to the development of the national economy by achieving many of the basic objectives of development including increasing output and income generation and re-distribution.
