About this opportunity
The Department for International Trade (DIT) South West is taking rising stars from across the region to the US, India and Singapore through its new Tech for Good programme. Discover how you can take your technology onto the global stage.
- Are you a South West based Tech for Good business?
- Are you driven by doing good for the world we live in?
- Does your tech provide a solution to health, environmental or social issues?
- Are you interested in expanding to high growth markets?
If so, DIT would love to hear from you.
Tech for Good South West is a first of its kind free intensive programme of export support for the top South West tech for good companies that will, if selected, participate in a ‘virtual’ trade visit to the US, India and/or Singapore based on their preference. These markets have been specifically selected by their team of expert advisers due to the breadth of in-market opportunities available for UK companies.
Launching in November 2020, this accelerator programme will involve education, networking and sales development through a series of virtual activities in the UK and each market. Your company will benefit from gaining a sound understanding of these high growth markets and having the opportunity to meet with customers and potential partners in your area of tech.
Who is this opportunity suitable for?
This opportunity is suitable for British companies in the South West and companies that can make an impact on better social, environmental or health outcomes in the US, India and Singapore.
This support is free of charge, supported by DIT South West’s levelling-up programme – but please be aware that spaces are extremely limited to 15 per market so admission will be competitive.
To apply, please complete the application form on the page linked below and include your pitch telling DIT about your company and why it should be involved in the programme. This can be through various mediums whether that be a slide deck, short brief or video. Please include details of any experience you have in these markets, and why this programme is of interest – the more specific and detailed your application, the more likely it will be short-listed.
Apply to take part in the programme today. The application deadline is October 7th 2020. To apply, follow the instructions on the link below.
