Southeast Asia’s healthcare markets have been growing rapidly in the past decade, driven by GDP gains and increasing affluence in the region. Many countries have moved towards social healthcare systems, alongside thriving private care services. However, the global recession caused by Covid-19 is already affecting healthcare spend and affecting access to care for many. In this session, the speakers will look at the changing economic outlook and how this may affect healthcare services and systems across the region.
