On behalf of the Office of Commercial Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy, we would like to invite you to visit the ‘Thailand Kitchen to the World’ pavilion at the BBC Good Food Show at the NEC, Birmingham, 15-18 June 2017.
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) will be running a stand at the show to promote Thai food and agricultural products, under the umbrella of ‘Thailand Kitchen of the World’. They will be showcasing in particular, ‘Thai Hom Mali Rice’, and educating consumers about the different varieties as well as its usage and benefits. The aim is to increase interest and awareness of Thai food ingredients in the UK and also increase the recognition of the quality of Thai food products and Thai restaurants.
Six suppliers of Thai Food products will be exhibiting on the stand and are as follows:
- Asco Foods Ltd
- Blue River International Ltd (Essence of Thailand & Amrita)
- Maepranom Co Ltd
- Manning Impex Ltd
- Thai Tana (All Coco & Mortar + Pestle)
- SOP International Ltd
Three head chefs from London-based Thai restaurants will be running cooking demonstrations and tastings over the four days. The chefs are:
