The UK places great importance in its relationship with Thailand, one of the UK’s oldest friends in SE Asia, with UK-Thailand trade dating back to the 17th Century.
Thailand, the second largest economy in SE Asia, has proven to be resilient in the face of global and regional challenges with steady growth of around 4%. With a population of 68m and a rising GDP per capita, Thailand is working ambitiously towards further attracting investment to achieve growth well above 4%. The Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), the government’s flagship project, will be the region’s new growth hub, presenting tremendous opportunities for UK companies.
The Thailand Business Forum, organized in conjunction with the visit to the UK of the Thai Prime Minister and key Cabinet members, will provide you with excellent opportunities to network with Thai business leaders who will be part of the Thai delegation.
