Five months later, ERIA and AmCham Indonesia created the survey described in this report, a more in-depth investigation.
What is the survey about?
- How foreign companies in ASEAN have responded and what plans they have in place moving forward.
- 24 chambers and business organisations representing foreign companies were involved in the implementation of this survey.
Results
The results indicate how adversely firms were impacted and which industries experienced the greatest impact, which factors contributed to the impact, the extent of supply chain disruption, countries where firms are reducing operations, whether firms are considering reshoring, when firms expect business to stabilize, what new technologies and innovations firms will continue to employ in the future, and many more.
