UK Transport Solutions Mission and ADB Forum

This activity will provide British companies a platform to engage with specific project proponents of major transport infrastructure projects in the Philippines for partnership and supply chain opportunities. In addition, it offers the opportunity to identify regional transport initiatives and projects supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

UK Transport Solutions Seminar Mission
The seminar, hosted by the British Embassy Manila, will focus on Philippine projects covering rail, airports, roads and ports.
It will include presentations from the government on the infrastructure plans of the new administration, There will also be private sector presentations by transport project developers regarding their pipeline and interests for partnership, as well as a chance for individual meetings with their procurement representatives.

ADB Transport Forum
The visit programme will include attendance in the ADB’s Transport Forum that gathers public and private sector stakeholders across Asia Pacific. Sessions will cover themes such as mass transport, air quality, road safety, green freight, transport planning, and technology and innovation in the transport sector.
There will be high level technology workshop sessions with ADB offices and the private and public sector attendees. There will also be a UK networking lunch with ADB transport stakeholders.
