Malaysians love to shop online. According to Global Web Index Commerce Summary 2014, over 30% of Malaysians are online shoppers and that percentage is steadily growing with the increasing penetration of mobile broadband. Statista.com predicts that revenue in the e-commerce market will reach USD 1.19 billion in 2016 and is expected to show an annual growth rate (CAGR 2016-2020) of 24.30% resulting in a market volume of USD 2.8 billion in 2020. In terms of user penetration, the current rate is expected to reach 58.35% in 2016 and is expected to hit 77.31% in 2020.

The e-commerce market in Malaysia is one of the biggest in South East Asia and it is very ideal for partnership and collaboration. Potential business opportunities in key areas such as naturing and market access programme.
