It is predicted by PwC that Indonesia will climb from the 8th largest economy in the world in 2016 based on PPP to the 5th largest by 2030. Many UK firms have been looking at ways to capitalise opportunities in Indonesia and the region whilst British corporates with existing operations in the nation have further expanded their businesses.

The key question is whether UK businesses have the right talents with the native knowledge of Indonesia as some are struggling with doing business successfully.

Indonesia Career Evening 2017 is a platform for UK firms to tap into a talent pool of Indonesian Students studying at top 15 UK universities here in London. This annual career event, hosted by Young Indonesian Professionals’ Association (YIPA) and Indonesian Embassy in London, is comprised of a career fair, career talks, and networking dinner.

Last year, Rolls-Royce, ICAEW, CIMB Bank, Oliver Wyman, Linklaters, and Allen&Overy among others joined as participating firms. Please check out last year’s highlight photos.
