Southeast Asian economic growth is expected to slow in 2020 for the second consecutive year, as the export-driven economies face increased US-China trade policy insecurity. While Southeast Asia through ASEAN is making efforts to increase regional integration, one should not forget the significant diversity of the Southeast Asian countries, both politically and economically. Across Southeast Asia, there is a focus on the need for vast infrastructure investments, and opportunities healthcare, education, and energy.
