Trade Mission: Business Opportunities in the Philippines
The British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP) is organising a Trade Mission for British Companies on 18– 20 October 2016. The Mission aims to help British companies explore the business opportunities and potential for doing business in the Philippines. Mission delegates will meet key players from the government and private sectors as well as potential local partners and contacts that can aid their successful market entry.
The Trade Mission is open to UK companies/ exporters especially Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and individual British entrepreneurs who are either in the UK or are already in the Philippines.
Why do business in the Philippines?
The Philippines is one of the fastest growing economies in the world with a GDP growth of 6.9 per cent (Q1/2016), which is projected to increase to 8.8 per cent by 2018. It is the second largest market in ASEAN with 103 million people. Big opportunities lie in the infrastructure, construction, IT-BPM, ICT, food and beverage, pharmaceutical energy and agri-business sectors.
