The Capital Accelerate & Scale Tech Superstars (CASTS) Programme would like to invite London-based technology SMEs with an offering for the healthcare sector to join a Trade Mission to Singapore supported by the Department for International Trade (DIT) London Region.
Why participate?
Healthcare spending is increasing strongly in Singapore as the population ages and continues to grow. Already at S$10bn annually (approximately £5.5bn), this is forecast to grow by a further S$3bn (approximatley £1.6n) by 2020.
Singapore is a leading digital market with high levels of internet use. Singaporeans are increasingly open to making use of healthcare technology and the government is actively encouraging this sector to drive quality and efficiency improvements through its Smart Nation Initiative. Singapore is also second in the rankings of easiest places to do business with and has the world’s 4th highest GDP per head of population.
Who should participate?
London-based small and medium-sized businesses which provide technology products and services with applications in healthcare. This includes software, health information systems, AI, robotics, digital services, connected care monitoring in the home and community and med-tech devices.
What are the benefits of participating?
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to be briefed on the market by local experts, meet with buyers, local partners and investors in March 2018, as well as:
- A pre-mission briefing in London to help you make the most of the trade mission
- Opportunities to pitch your products and/or services to Singaporean investors, buyers and potential partners
