DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND THIS TRADE MISSION IS NOW FULL
UK Trade & Investment, the Training Gateway and TVET UK are taking a mission to Malaysia and Myanmar to explore some of the many opportunities for education and corporate training organisations.
Malaysia is fast becoming an ‘Educational Hub’ of the ASEAN region. British products and services linked to education and training are worth over £280 million a year.
Myanmar is the fastest growing economy in SE Asia at 7.8%. The skills gap has been identified as one of the most severe barriers to economic development by the business community, and British education and qualifications are recognised as being of the highest international standard and far preferable to regional options.
Who Should attend?
The mission will be centred on vocational & corporate training and educational partnerships. It will be an excellent opportunity to promote your business to key HR directors and education buyers in the region.
In order to take full advantage of the opportunities afforded by this mission we suggest that organisations should aim to send delegates who are experienced trainers so they can take part in the training day.
For those organisations whose trainers cannot attend or who also wish to send business development staff there will be plenty of opportunity to showcase their organisation’s offer at meetings and during the exhibitions which will run along side the training days in Sarawak and Yangon.
