The Asian Development Bank (ADB), in partnership with the International Union of Railways (UIC), is co-organising the Asia-Pacific Railway Innovations Forum, to be held 21-24 May 2019 at the ADB Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.

This marks the first railway-centred knowledge event to be hosted by the ADB, with the objective of gathering key rail stakeholders (including those in the private sector), and providing a platform for all to interact, discuss, and present current sector issues, new solutions and technologies, and the overall evolving rail environment.

The ADB welcomes your active involvement throughout the entire Forum (please see indicative programme, below). For this, we would like to specifically seek your participation through two external-facing events of the Forum, which we believe you will be most interested in:

1. Innovative rail solutions exhibition. Booths featuring rail firms will be showcased throughout the Forum’s entire four-day run. However due to space restrictions and depending on volume, exhibitors may be asked to be grouped and jointly utilise one exhibit booth/stand (in case of multiple nominations from a country or region).

 Full details on the exhibition are attached. The Bank requests all applications to come in on or before 12 April 2019 to give organisers time to liaise with the nominated exhibitors.

2. Railway Industry Day.  On 23 May 2019, ADB will host a series of brownbags, lectures, and seminars organised by the international rail industry. Speaking slots are available for firms wishing to put forth innovative solutions, products, and services before an audience.
