The Department for International Trade (DIT) is delighted to invite you to their upcoming Seminar on Tuesday with Walter Poick, Procurement Division Director, Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The seminar is reserved for senior executives from the UK’s key energy, infrastructure, and education firms with a level of experience doing business with multilateral development banks, who wish to deepen their understanding and engagement with the ADB. It is a half-day session designed to engage with industry to inform about upcoming trends and opportunities in ADB procurement and help understand industry’s ambitions and challenges at the Bank.
The session is at Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury, London and begins at 9.00am with coffee, tea and pastries. Walter will speak about the ADB’s new procurement framework, as well as updates on the Bank’s lending activities and priority themes in key sectors. This will open up the floor for participants to ask questions, discuss their plans and any challenges and barriers they anticipate or have previously experienced. The formal programme will end at 12.00pm and will be followed by a working lunch and networking. For interested attendees, Walter has agreed to meet one-to-one and answer specific questions from 12.30pm.
